Dental Assistant
Program Overview
The dental assistant program has been in existence since 1962 and is
accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental
Association and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc.
This program offers a state of the art clinical facilities and an
experienced, caring faculty designed to help you succeed.
Students who successfully complete the program receive a certificate in
dental assisting and are eligible to take the national certification exam.
In addition, graduates can transfer the credits earned to Berkshire
Community College's Associate in Health Science degree and to Pennsylvania
College's Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Health.
Dental assistants are in great demand. It's a career with security, variety,
prestige and respect - factors you value in a the workplace. Job

local hospitals, in the armed services, or as an instructor in a dental
